Privacy notice.
This website belongs to Micro Tech Namibia, 13 Mandume Ya Ndemufayo Str, Swakopmund. This page says what it collects, why, and for how long. Questions go to info@microtechnamibia.com.
Messages and quote requests
When you send a message or ask for a quote, we keep your name, company, email address, phone number and message so that we can answer you. They go to our office by email and are kept in our website records until the matter is closed and for a reasonable time afterwards. We do not pass them to anyone else.
Job applications
An application and the documents you attach are kept so that we can consider you for the position and for future vacancies, as you agree when you send them. You can ask us to delete them at any time by emailing info@microtechnamibia.com.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to see which parts of the site are read and used. The site sets no cookies and stores no address or name for this. Visitors are told apart by a code that is made fresh every day, so nobody can be followed from one day to the next, and browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are not counted at all. The country a visit comes from is worked out from the network address at the moment of the visit; the address itself is not kept. To keep the forms free of spam, your browser solves a small puzzle before a message is sent; nothing about you is stored for that. The figures stay on our own server.
Cookies and other services
The site itself sets no cookies. Your choice of light or dark theme is remembered in your own browser only. The map on the contact section is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads; see Google’s privacy policy for those.
